>”Nobody, and I mean nobody, gets to trash E. Gary Gygax and the geniuses who created Dungeons & Dragons,” Musk replied.
In amidst the loopy people who were panicking about “spells” and kids getting lost in tunnels, Mr. Gygax was busy making it clear that while demons and devils were monsters (enemies) in D&D, angels would never be.
Nowadays the RPG writers, such as they are, stumble over each other only to show how woke and idiotic they can be.

If you played an evil character wouldn’t angels be enemies?

But then he gave us Solars and Planetars ("Monster Manuel II") which are nothing more than archangels and angels, respectively. I used to use them as NPCs when someone got their Divine Intervention roll, and often enough when a demon got out of hand for a party to handle (looking at you, Demogorgon!) Once, a had a group that wanted to be all-evil and set them up to eventually fight an archangel. Idiots were so evil they didn't even make it out of the tavern. lol
As for Musk, I don't have skin in the game on this one (I used to play Magic:The Gathering religiously before it got so woke it was sickening) but if it riles all the right people, hell, good on Elon! :D
