If he’s taking time to be with his family during Thanksgiving, I can certainly understand that. The long campaign is finally over. I just don’t want Elon to start thinking, maybe he is the ‘actual’ Vice President.
Yeah. I like and respect Musk and so far I don’t really have any concerns. But there is potential for him to act like he’s in the Tom Hanks movie “Captain Phillips” — “Look at me ... Look at me! I am the Vice President now!”
It is probably smart to keep VP & President separate...for obvious reasons.
I am sure Vance is taking good down time with his own family and making preparations for the big changes in his life and his families lives.
Plus, it is not abnormal for the Prez and the Veep to stay in different spaces for security reasons.
I’ve been wondering where Vance is, too. I wonder if they are being kept apart for security reason. Lately there has been a lot of Musk and Kennedy, but nothing I can find on JD.

I have been worrying about that, too. I hope he isn’t being dissed, and pushed aside by the new “First Buddy”. You don’t want to insult your VP; dont want another Pence situation.
I do know that JD has been shepherding Cabinet nominees throughout Senators’ offices. I expect that’s been occupying most of his time.
