Washington Commanders managing partner Josh Harris and the NFL Commanders ownership group have agreed to un-cancel the Redskins (the iconic Blackfoot chief logo) history.
In a post on Facebook by Republican Montana Sen. Steve Daines, the Congressman wrote that “The censorship of the former Commanders logo was a classic case of woke gone wrong. I applaud the Commanders & the NFL for their commitment to never censor the logo again.”

I think “commander” sounds kinda Indian , like an Indian chief. Probably the closest thing they could get to without the woke getting their little pretty panties all tied up.

I went to high school in the DC area and we were all ardent Redskins fans. Loved the logo, the colors and the fight song. And old RFK Stadium.
No actually that is the whole point. I read another story about the team owner complaining about diminished logo revenue.
Owner Harris is steeped in Redskins tradition and indicated changes are forthcoming that will refresh those traditions. This logo deal is just the first.
They’ll be Redskins again before too long...probably after wokesters have left DC.. in about a year.
