Good morning. Happy Humph Day!

We had a cloudy, rainy day yesterday and it looks like more is on tap today. It was almost 60 fs when I walked The Princess and the guess is for a high of 68. So I guess the cloudy skies are part of more fall-ish weather.

Still no closing date. I hope that bank exec isn’t waiting for their partner to set a date for something so they can plan around that. The rest of us have lives, too.

Finally, a bit of a break on the Wordle. Although this is the second day in a row my starter word yielded nothing.

The last guess I saw late last night said 1.63” of rain for us... this morning the guess is 0.00”... sigh... at least one version of future radar supports that... oh well...

Happy Wednesday...

Got my Monster-in-a-box animatronic finished last night. Looks pretty good. I’d put pressure adjustment valves on the pneumatics so that I could better control the force of the air pistons. Didn’t both trying to wire in my smoke machine... I just set it to an automatic cycle.

Now... what do I do next... :-)

Actually some in the area do... they collect rain water in large 500 or 1,000 gallon tanks... we have a well and don’t do any rainwater collection, but I would like to setup for at least some of that at some point...

I am currently living in a female-less state of domestic tranquility. Just me here now. Had a fallin out with my children and it could be years before I see them again. If ever...

It is what it is.

However, my parents have expressed an interest in me bringing the Box down to their place. They get a LOT of kids coming through for Trick or Treat and they normally decorate heavily for Halloween.

I hear ya’ on the “domestic tranquility” thing.

My theory is that God created marriage so that men would have a means of keeping their egos in check. Out in the world of business and commerce they might come to the conclusion that they are capable. The wife helps them to reset.
