Never FReepers EVER forget FDR’s “Second Bill of Rights”— he gave in a speech and became holy writ as the goals of all the demonrat MACHINE Leftist/Communists ever since. It is quite a read. Will look it up and post it for all to see.

One other comment. FDR’s physicians knew he would have a stroke (rather- another of several strokes he had while in office). His blood pressure at Yalta is recorded as 260/150!! He was on fairly high dose of digitalis (a “new” drug to make his heart pump stronger. He had no doubt already had several mini-strokes which his polio covered up on peripheral vascular responses. No surprise as he continued to smoke a pack a day at least, and drink multiple cocktails and stopped trying to be out of his wheelchair even in front of Congress.

4 elections— unreal, and he was without question a dictator, buying the Southern Democrat machine (and he did not give a whit about “the coloreds” vs. the lesbian Eleanor who hosted Josh White in the WH). Second Bill of Rights.
Part of his State of the Union Address on Tuesday, January 11, 1944. FDR suggested that the nation had come to recognize (not saying how he determined this- naturally) and should now implement a “Second bill of Rights”, arguing that the political rights backed by the Constitution, had proven inadequate to assure the country of Equality of the pursuit of happiness”!!

To put this in clearer meaning— he meant Equality of Outcome being assured by the “government” -—NOTHING of the sort was intended by the Founders or envisioned in our Constutition- including a concept of the US being a “democracy”. The US is described therein as a Republic. NOT a democracy— for it was democracy rule by mob which destroyed the Europe they all had escaped.

These are NOT Rights in any conception of the US Constitution. These “rights” are to be granted to people FROM government. A government which CONTROLS all citizens by and through the providing of these “rights”. These are not natural rights given to all people by God. No, these are government handouts— to replace GOD and individual efforts to be rewarded by these very items. Pure Socialism, mixed with judicious amount of true Fascism (Mussolini type):

1.)The right to a useful and remunerative job in the industries or shops or farms or mines of the nation;

2.) The right to earn enough to provide adequate food and clothing and recreation;

3.)The right of every farmer to raise and sell his products at a return which will give him and his family a decent living;

4.)The right of every businessman, large and small, to trade in an atmosphere of freedom from unfair competition and domination by monopolies at home or abroad;

5.)The right of every family to a decent home;

6.)The right to adequate medical care and the opportunity to achieve and enjoy good health;

7.)The right to adequate protection from the economic fears of old age, sickness, accident, and unemployment;

8.)The right to a good education.
