Your marriage ends because your husband thinks you should have treatment to save your life?

I swear these people are so self obsessed it’s incredible.

The statistical benefit of chemo, when the cancer is caught early, is an interesting subject.

Her cancer in particular can be a very aggressive one, and is targeted by the new class of drugs that started with herceptin.

Her decision is hers, what gets me is the idea a marriage would be over because your husband would prefer you have chemotherapy.

Maybe he doesn’t want to watch her kill herself over a few years with quackery. You become a billionaire by knowing when to cut your losses.

He divorced her because she was in menopause and had cancer. He didn’t want to deal with it regardless of the treatment.

I had a senior softball friend who is in the Michigan USSSA hall of fame who battled cancer in the last couple years of his life. Ignoring the advice of his friends and family to see an Oncologist, he chose the holistic approach which did him no good......

Unfortunately for many, alternative medicine can take on a religious type fanaticism. It isn't just something for them, they insist those around them also embrace it and become immune to all contradictory facts.

Basically he was not allowed to disagree with her.

She divorced him. Pretty sure he would have stayed married to her and just resigned himself to her decision he didn’t agree with.
