Incoming Border Czar Tom Homan slammed Boston’s Democrat Mayor Michelle Wu for her announcement that the city would resist cooperation with the Trump administration’s plans for mass deportations.

In a blunt interview with Greg Kelly, he dismantled Wu’s rationale and warned of the potential legal consequences for her administration.

“Well, she’s not very smart, I’ll give her that because I just said… President Trump’s going to prioritize public safety threats,” Homan said.

I'm rather certain what wacky Wu - and a number of others - are telegraphing is a confidence in lawfare strategy shutting it all down. Problem is that #47 isn't the same guy as what #45 was. Lessons learned, and there is a level of support inside but mostly from outside the government that wasn't present the last time - he has a crew, a lot of muscle backing him up now. There are details for plans being hammered out every day and through the nights over at Mar-a-lago. When DJT's hand comes off the bible on January the 20th, a lot of people are gonna hit the ground running and flat overwhelm any insidious resistance there may be in store. Adversaries can try to regroup it, beat those dead horses but not seeing it being even marginally effective this time.
