He had a fire in his garage, I think and he received some burns, iirc.
He takes a lot more risks than most people too- used to wa5ch his show called Leno’s garage or something like that, and some of the things he would do were pretty wild. He certainly is living large and enjoying it.

Based on what I have seen I do not think Jay Leno is a Hollywood Liberal. First of all, he grew up outside of Boston. He lives part of the time in LA. The other part in Newport, RI. He has been married to the same woman for 44 years.
When he was on the Tonight Show he told jokes about all sorts of politicians. Not just Republicans.
His Jay Walking segments on the show basically made fun of STUPID LIBERAL Americans. Basically dumb people.
He owns literally HUNDREDS of classic cars. So many that he opened a museum of them in RI. HE actually works on those cars himself. Which is where he got burned when the fuel from one of those classic cars ignited when he was working on the engine. There are several videos on YouTube of various people touring his garages.
I just listened to an interview about this fall this morning on the radio. He said he decided to walk down a hill (he is 78) instead of taking the long way around. He fell and tumbled to the bottom where he hit his face on a couple rocks. He made a joke about it being an old man he should have known better.
Yup! And he still drives 1000hp cars on the road!

Not always true.In Keeping Up Appearances...a great BBC comedy (I love Britcoms)...the second “our Rose” was far better than the original.

No, his jokes about Republicans were vicious, partisan and designed to make them look evil and stupid. His jokes about Democrats were like, “Hey! Bill Clinton sho’ likes him some hamburgers, amiright?”
In a way he was worse than Cobert; With Cobert, you know you’re getting radical-left venom, so he ends up preaching to a tiny choir. Leno *was* more entertaining, and not 100% purely anti-Republican, so he attracted a crowd that was much, much larger and could help perpetuate a template that was very harmful to Republicans.
Yikes.

And to think it was Dick Van Dyke who was famous for tripping over a hassock on TV.
One day on my way to work I fell over 30 feet..... I tripped getting on the bus.
He was also on Last Man Standing, which was a fairly conservative show.
