Yes. I expect the Washington insiders to have troble moving to block all of the very dynamic leaders that Trump is putting in place right now. Everything is going to be in motion, all at once, and the bureaucrats aren’t used to moving at that speed. Resistance will be challenging.
And perhaps more important, the MSM will have 50 stories to cover every day about the Washington bureaucracy. Frankly, it’s not that interesting (which is good). It will be constantly shifting. People’s attention will have to shift from Efficiency, to Health, to Lawfare, to Tariffs, to Education, to Energy, to Taxes. It will be exhausting for the journalists and for the viewers.
No one will be able to keep up. I think Trump’s momentum will be enormous and neither the bureaucrats nor the media will be able to mount a strong resistance.
“Tariffs”
What I favor is a blocked currency like India has. The Chinese stuff would get paid for by US dollars that would be lent to the federal government at 0% interest until the Chinese use those dollars to pay American workers or buy American goods.
There would be no tariffs involved, so the Chinese imports would not cost American consumers more money.
The system would apply to all countries, including Mexico and Germany.
That was my first thought when PDJT hit the ground running with rapid-fire appointment announcements (most of which, of predictably, were “controversial.”)
The media and their Rat fellow travelers already have little remaining credibility; they'll have even less when they spend all their time branding every Trump nomination as “extreme.”
