Conspiracy theory purveyor Infowars and most of its assets went on the auction block Wednesday, with Alex Jones waiting to see if he will be allowed to stay or if he will get kicked off its online platforms.
The private auction was being held as part of Jones’ personal bankruptcy, which resulted from the nearly $1.5 billion in defamation lawsuit judgments a judge and jurors ordered the bombastic internet show and radio host to pay to families of victims of the 2012 Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting for repeatedly telling his audience that the Connecticut massacre of 20 children and six adults was a hoax staged by crisis actors.
The bankruptcy trustee was scheduled to open sealed bids at 10:30 a.m. CST and choose the winning bidder or bidders. There was no immediate announcement of the results.

Or this?
DiogenesLamp wrote: “Duway, can you tell me what this means?”
Why don’t you tell us what that means to you?
I think most Freepers will look at those things, and if they are knowledgeable, will quickly discern a meaning to them.
But what do you think they mean?
Since then it's been used on Rudy Gulliany, Donald Trunp.(the liable suite following the bogus rape case), and Fox News - who paid rather than have the old mans emsils published four v all to read.
It's now an established lawfare tactic.
DiogenesLamp wrote: “I am more interested in your opinion. That you are dodging the question inclines me to think you know exactly what I think about these things.”
I don’t read minds.
I looked at Jimmy Comet's instagram account before this thing became a scandal.
Looked at his artwork he displayed in Comet Pizza during his art showings. Sick twisted stuff. Don't want to even describe it, but it was about doing bad things to children.
There was a *LOT* of material available showing an unhealthy focus on children and sexuality surrounding him, his place of business, and the people he associated with.
I watched a youtube video that was on Comet Pizza's own youtube channel featuring a young boy advertising Comet Pizza. Among other curious things he said, he said "We have Pizza with beans, and Pizza with eggs."
Nobody puts beans or eggs on pizza, and why would you specifically mention beans and eggs?
And they had videos of their freaky parties.
All that stuff has been deleted, though I still have the links I posted to it at the time.
Something was going on there. Too much smoke for there not to be some sort of fire.

Since you seem to put a lot of faith in Alex Jones, here’s what Jones has to say about Pizzagate.
In March 2017, Alex Jones apologized to Alefantis for promulgating the conspiracy theory, saying: “To my knowledge today, neither Mr. Alefantis, nor his restaurant Comet Ping Pong, were involved in any human trafficking as was part of the theories about Pizzagate that were being written about in many media outlets and which we commented upon.” InfoWars also issued a correction on its website and Jones said, “I want our viewers and listeners to know that we regret any negative impact our commentaries may have had on Mr. Alefantis, Comet Ping Pong, or its employees. We apologize to the extent our commentaries could be construed as negative statements about Mr. Alefantis or Comet Ping Pong, and we hope that anyone else involved in commenting on Pizzagate will do the same thing.”

More of your assumptions. I suggest you do a websearch. You’ll find multiple recipes featuring beans and eggs as toppings on pizza.
The NYTimes is reporting that The Onion Says It Has Bought Infowars, Alex Jones’s Site, Out of Bankruptcy. The satirical news site planned to turn Infowars into a parody of itself, mocking “weird internet personalities” who peddle conspiracy theories and health supplements.
Thanks for the update
Well firstly, I never put any faith in Alex Jones. I didn't even know who he was when I was reading about all the strange doings at Comet Pizza and with the Podestas.
Secondly, what Alex Jones says here looks like a clear case of trying to avoid liability for any connection to the nut that shot up the place.

So you've heard of people putting "beans" on a pizza? Or putting "eggs" on a pizza?
And of all the things you would think of people to mention in an advertisement for a pizza shop, you think "beans" and "eggs" would be the ingredients they would want most people to know are on their pizza?
Normal people say stuff like "Pepperoni" or "Sausage", or "Ham", or something the vast majority of people expect to be on a pizza.
But of course the little boy didn't say we put "beans" or "eggs" on the pizza. He said "We have pizza with beans and Pizza with eggs."
If "Pizza" is the code word for "children", (which it is well know to be according to the FBI guidelines on this stuff) then the odd phrasing makes more sense. A little boy has "beans", but they are not "on" him. A little girl has "eggs", but they are not "on" her.
Add to that all the other weird imagery and communications surrounding the place, such as their abstract "Art" exhibits featuring tied up/leashed children being strangled, ejaculated on, "riding" an adult figure, and the souls leaving their bodies, then yeah, it gets hard to think they meant what was said in any other context.
Comet Pizza displayed some really sick sh*t they called "art", and it was clearly meant to be images of children being tortured, sexually assaulted, and murdered.
People who dismiss this issue haven't seen the evidence, and will simply refuse to look at it.
I've seen too much of it to convince me that it was all innocent or the result of a misunderstanding.
So what "sword" was Alefantis referring to when he said "give the child the sword"?
What does "Cum Panda" mean? (I assume you are aware of the existence of the pedo-bear image?)
And there are still more. Alefantis instagram account was full of weird suggestive images and statements regarding children and sex.
This is well beyond ordinary f@ggotry.

That’s a lot of mental gymnastics. So, using ‘with’ instead of ‘on’ is proof of child sex trafficing? That is so typical of people trying to conjure up proof when proof is lacking.

Explain it away as something innocent.
There are more of these than what is shown at the link.
Never said there was "proof" of child trafficking. Said there was a mountain of commentary and imagery that imply something very wicked is going on there, but no "proof".
It's like the diatribes from people threatening to commit terrorist acts. They might not have done anything, but they are acting in such a way as to raise suspicion they have, or shall.
I think the FBI says "they were on our radar." Well the stuff associated with Comet Pizza should have put them on the radar of law enforcement.
I'm thinking you might have more information on this issue. I remember discussing it back years ago, and everything that came out looked bad for Comet Pizza and the Podestas.
So sorry, Alex Jones. Your ‘Pizzagate’ apology doesn’t change a thing.
Still broadcasting, on radio and on X, if anyone wants to hear the other side of the story.
