Avoiding helping Trump supporters was a nationwide policy, according to the woman who was fired for putting it in writing.
The purpose of doing so, we are told, is that Trump supporters are dangerous to FEMA workers, and therefore should be avoided.
I don't know to what extent the accusation that Trump supporters are any more likely to be hostile to FEMA workers, but if so, I am pretty sure that cause and effect are reversed. Obviously, Trump supporters who suspect that FEMA was doing its best not to help them were right, and since that is the case, they have every reason to be less than friendly to FEMA workers.
However, I seriously doubt there is much to the accusation in the first place. After all, there are countless videos of people in hurricane-ravaged areas begging for help. No doubt there is some Trump supporter somewhere who was nasty to a FEMA worker after being left to suffer for days, but the claim that this was a trend is...doubtful.
FEMA is, after all, part of the Department of Homeland Security, and under DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas nothing good has happened, and lots that is evil has. This is the man who controlled the porous border, is the boss of the Secret Service, and who has presided over disasters aplenty.
There can be no doubt that the illegal immigrant invasion was intended to harm the USA.

Termination isn’t enough, she should be prosecuted.....her a d whoever else she throws under the bus.
Put her in charge of the whole department so that she can fire everyone up the chain of command. Then allow Musk/Vivek to eliminate the erntire department.
Wonder what it would cost to make Appalachia ‘whole’ again, so to speak? 1 billion? 10 Billion? 100 billion? I’m talking infrastructure, as you can’t put a value on a human life. What do YOU think???

There were HUNDREDS of TRUMP/VANCE signs posted in yards and along the twisty mountain roads of the Blue Ridge...I saw them with my own eyes. I saw them, and I am sure the ‘Feds’ knew they were there, as well.
It would take far less than we have sent the Ukraine.

They serve only themselves. Don't kid yourself in some sort of greater good and ethics expectation. FEMA is a political tool. A bias is only the very tip of the iceberg. They have broad powers and an armory of weapons. It's an agency that has emergency powers. Do you really think leftists won't abuse that power? In political circles, what's the point of having this agency if I can't get it to "punish my enemies and reward my friends" (sound familiar?).
Bet they check the FEC donor data base, too...
Not only was FEMA accused of not helping in North Carolina, they were accused of stopping private parties from providing assistance.

That’s because those private parties were NOT on FEMA’s ‘preferred vendor’ list. FEMA is the new ‘f’ word ‘round these parts.
