Actually God is in favor of guns.

So much so that Jesus told His followers that, if they had two cloaks to sell one and buy a sword.

People try to fluff that off as it was just rhetorical (no) and it was "for wild animals" when in that case He would have told them to buy spears.

Guns didn’t exist yet when Our Lord walked the earth. Swords did, though, and he said that two were enough, which means he did nit hate them. He also suggested not go live by them.

Agreed. When Democrats make arguments, they are usually attempting to manipulate. Something like “This is what you should believe, because ...”. They seldom make a sincere argument about their own beliefs. Their beliefs should not be examined critically. They are afraid that they cannot defend their own beliefs. And with good reason.
