Voters in liberal strongholds across the country, from city centers to suburban stretches, failed to show up to vote for Vice President Kamala Harris at the levels they had for Joseph R. Biden Jr. four years earlier, contributing significantly to her defeat by Donald J. Trump, according to a New York Times analysis of preliminary election data.
The numbers help fill in the picture of Mr. Trump’s commanding victory, showing it may not represent the resounding endorsement of his agenda that the final Electoral College vote suggests. Mr. Trump won the White House not only because he turned out his supporters and persuaded skeptics, but also because many Democrats sat this election out, presumably turned off by both candidates.
Counties with the biggest Democratic victories in 2020 delivered 1.9 million fewer votes for Ms. Harris than they had for Mr. Biden. The nation’s most Republican-heavy counties turned out an additional 1.2 million votes for Mr. Trump this year, according to the analysis of the 47 states where the vote count is largely complete.
The drop-off spanned demographics and economics. It was clear in counties with the highest job growth rates, counties with the most job losses and counties with the highest percentage of college-educated voters. Turnout was down, too, across groups that are traditionally strong for Democrats — including areas with large numbers of Black Christians and Jewish voters.
The decline in key cities, including Detroit and Philadelphia, made it exceptionally difficult for Ms. Harris to win the battlegrounds of Michigan and Pennsylvania.

What I would actually like is a full audit of voter registration in Detroit, Milwaukee, Philadelphia, Atlanta etc—a walk through of each building and apartment, precinct by precinct.

I think it should be thoroughly investigated and proven or disproven beyond reasonable doubt.
That will require federal orders of complete audit of voter registration rolls and votes cast in 2020, 2022, and 204 since the governors seem unwilling to do it.
Without a true audit in each state, there is no way of knowing how many 2020 Dim voters were phantoms produced for still registered dead and moved voters together with fraud late mail in votes for millions of registered voters with a history of not voting, requiring illegal access to voting databases to secure those votes and not duplicate them.

If there ever was a smoking gun that unequivocally proves the election in 2020 was fraudulent, this data is it. The whole point of Jan 6 was to have the state legislatures look at this data and decide whether to certify the perjury of their Secretaries of State or do their constitutional duty and intervene to prevent an injustice.
History will teach future generations that the 2020 election and Jan 6 were the political equivalent of the Alamo, and the 2024 election was the capture of Santa Anna, defeating the Mexican army.

I think I may be the strongest advocate on this forum for the fact that the 2020 Election was stolen by Democrats. But Democrats didn't steal the Election by stuffing "15 Million" (fake) mail-in ballots into ballot boxes & rigging lots of voting machines in 2020. It was everything else Democrats did in 2020 that enabled them to steal the election. Beginning in November 2020, I explained on this forum exactly how Democrats stole the 2020 Election.
