It seems to me that the more education some people get the less common sense they seem to have. I too have lost a couple of lifelong friends over their support for the demcocrats and their utter hatred of DJT. It’s sad but they truly think I’m a bad person because I openly support Trump and the right.

I was in college (in Texas!) in the early-mid 70’s and it took me 10 years to overcome the liberal BS I was taught. My liberal mother (who let me think freely at least) once asked me what caused me to become conservative.
I told her the truth: “10 years of relentless exposure to reality.” She couldn’t come up with a response to that so it wasn’t ever mentioned again.

That's because the word "education" is horribly misused these days. Sitting in a classroom for hours a day listening to some deranged leftist spew a communists world view is not "education" - it is brainwashing.
It is no coincidence that kids coming out of high school and even college can barely read or do math at the same time that leftists have taken over the school system. An actual education would give them enough knowledge to realize that most leftist ideas are fantastical garbage. You need young minds ignorant of the realities of the world in order to instill such nonsense.
