Democratic governors are signaling their willingness to defy the new Trump administration, vowing to protect freedoms in their states and to wage legal and political battle if the president-elect follows through with controversial proposals.
California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) said the Golden State is “ready to fight” and called a special section of the state Legislature after Trump’s win.
Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker (D) promised that if “you come for my people, you come through me.”
In Massachusetts, Gov. Maura Healey (D) pledged her state’s law enforcement will not assist the Trump administration if it goes through with mass deportation plans.

I think that Sanctuary Cities should be granted some sort of official designation. All aliens should be sent to these jurisdictions, without federal funding of course. Win-win all around...

It’s “Trump resistance” not America resistance or Law resistance.

Let’s hope Jelly Belly Prickster just signed his own political death warrant. Between his pro-abortion/abortion vacation destination state, pro-minor gender transitioning and donations to Lurie Children’s Hospital for that program, and his unlawful laws preventing ICE interaction with state and local law enforcement, his time has run out. He needs to leave before he snaps another femur under his own fatass weight.

Any Federal employee actively in resistance against Trump must be immediately terminated for Cause.
States resisting: cut off the Fed funds. Just do not pay them.

Trump should handle Maryland like that again. Beautiful state, but run by Communists.
