1. I was unaware that a "director" of a made-up job in a public defenders office is an "official". The things you learn I guess.

2. Mass deportations...I hope those numbers are in the 30-40 million range...happen.

3. Once again a liberal hack tries to complicate a very simple process:

Systematically start cancelling all federal benefits. Since they've become accustomed to the government kissing their ass, when they come to complain/argue, advised them that their asylum hearing, which they will lose, starts immediately. All benefits permanently cancelled.

And IMHO, be nice about it and offer them a ride home, if they're from Central & South America. A plane ride, even if on a military one is far cheaper than paying for them. Or just put on commercial for their ride home.

As for the Africans, Asians, Muslims...just take money from the NGOs and fly them back to wherever. If that ends being a fight with Congress, fine. Just fly them all back to their last airport destination, before their trips north to the border....Mexico City. Let AMLO and his pals deal with them.

Haitians...very, very simple...C17, C130, C141 straight back to Port Au Prince. They can be civil and ride back quietly. Or they can ride back in restraints. If they escape and open a door, let 'em jump.

Very simple

Start enforcing federal law on cities and employers supporting them and they will leave on their own.

“Systematically start cancelling all federal benefits.”
Also, cancel all federal payments, of any kind, to cities or states that refuse to cooperate.

Francisco Ugarte appears to think he’ll be one of the first ones walked down to the exit (Salida) sign at the border and get a boot in his ass.

Let the blue cities suffer. Help them last.

Start with cooperative jurisdictions run by people who care about their citizens.

Excellent suggestion. And is the one offering illegals a free ride home. Perhaps add in a small sweetener, like maybe $200 cash. As you noted, that would be much cheaper than keeping them on the dole.

Starry-eyed liberals who favor unrestricted immigration just don’t get that it’s not 1910 anymore.

1910: Plenty of factory work for immigrants, and no welfare.
2024: No factory work for immigrants, and plenty of welfare.

Mass deportations are real easy. Start levying heavy fines on companies who hire illegals.

Start hunting down all those who are felony criminals and sending them back with predjudice. (Some countries will kill them on sight when they land. Saw it done in Cuba once.)

Stop all remittances to illegals. Many will self deport once the money flow stops.

Refuse to allow any refugees who return to the country they were “fleeing” from, because of persecution, to come back in to the USA. This happens all the time, they go home on a vacation to see their families.

Start doing these few things and the numbers will go down real fast.

Mass deportations look so easy on paper but I’ll just bet that even if Trump wins very few will actually be deported, maybe only the worst of the worst and certainly there will be a hunt for active and potential terrorists. Getting entrenched libs to cooperate will be nearly impossible given the 4 years Trump would have to work with.

Hate to be a downer but I believe the illegals are here to stay.

California’s Supreme Court saying that ICE agents shouldn’t be in courthouses because that deters people from going to court as an example of this.

That's fine ICE will just pick them up at the county jail and remove them from the country. That really will deter them from going to court even better.

The hangup is going to be the need to defy the courts because they will invent "rights" that do not exist or make reference to UN documents while issuing injunctions to stop deportations.

Other Presidents have had to deal with this, it's not a new problem. Saying "John Marshall has made his decision, now let him enforce it", or "the Constitution is not a suicide pact", or recognizing that all three branches have a co-equal right to interpret the Constitution - all these are part of our history, and Andrew Jackson, Abraham Lincoln, and FDR are all generally well-regarded by historians.

But if Trump attempts involuntary deportation of people who, under our law have no right to be here, the question is, after he is impeached in the House for defying court orders, are there 34 Senators who will keep him in office? Will the military obey his orders?

Mass deportation will be opposed by every single element of our Constitutional system. Is Trump at age 78 a general who will cross the Rubicon and solve this problem, even if it upsets all you Constitution lovers? Does he have a political and legal team that will make the case that his inherent authority gives him all the powers he needs to do this?

I mean, I know he does. But this is what virtually all Americans and a lot of people here have been taught to call "fascism". Every time you hear that word, make sure you have one of Woodrow Wilson's dimes in your pocket for good luck:

Protecting illegals from deportation is factually abetting a federal felony. Arrest and prosecute all such activists.
