Why does the political establishment hate Trump?
American Thinker ^ | 1 Nov, 2024 | Richard Thornton

The short answer to that question comes from George Orwell: “Who controls the past controls the future. Who controls the present controls the past.” Packed into that pithy aphorism is the explanation of the bitter struggle centering on the person of President Donald J. Trump.

The dirty little secret of American history is that a largely left-leaning establishment has dominated our politics since 1932 and thereby framed our understanding of the past and goals for the future. Only two Republican presidents have held temporary majorities in both houses of Congress since then: Dwight D. Eisenhower and George W. Bush. Neither made a dent in the establishment’s control. Indeed, during the past thirty-eight years, since the political establishment kicked President Reagan upstairs and out of power in the Iran contra scandal, the political establishment has taken the country farther to the left than ever before, centered on the policies of détente with Moscow, Beijing, and Iran. In the process of attempting to create a new world order, the Democrat establishment left behind and totally alienated the American people.

The beneficiary of this widespread alienation was President Donald J. Trump and Republicans, who in 2016 swept to power across the country with strong majorities in both houses of Congress and a mandate from the people to reverse course. Trump led the way, attacking the Democrat establishment’s narrative of the past and setting forth a new vision of the future. “Make America Great Again” is more than a campaign slogan; it is a repudiation of the past failure of the political establishment.

It did not last.

Trump lost control of the House in 2018 and fell victim to a Democrat counter-revolution in 2020. In less than four years, demonstrating a level of incompetence unknown in modern history, Joe Biden and Kamala Harris...

I don’t think I like what the Progressives want to progress toward.

"Why does the political establishment hate Trump?"

Simply put, he's not a stinking lawyer.

Because he is a threat to them.

I analogize it to having a police department full of dirty cops, all on the take, and a cop joins their department who refuses to go on the take.

That cop is a direct and existential threat to the dirty cops on the take.

Same with Trump. He is a threat to them.

Trump is hated, and patriots by association, is because the Republic and its organic Constitution is being restored. The DSC owns the left, the apparatus of govt, and the millions of useful idiots that help them maintain their control.

The Republic IS being restored thru lawful means (the left is trying to prevent this thru legal means - their codes, regs, statutes). The restoral is thru EO’s, military law (DOD Law Manual, amended in 2015 in prep for DJT and July 2023), and probably PEADs.

Because he’s a decent Caucasian American, straight male politician. They are very “rare” in this country these days. Most U.S. politicians are foreign piggies or weirdo freaks.

I saw a video last night of a woman utterly freaking out, crying, wailing because Trump is ahead in the polls and he could win and she called him every curse word in the book. Severe case of TDS. If he wins watching these a-holes freak out even more is going to bring me to levels of joy I never thought possible.

Trump is an outsider and is committed to the people, not the government.

The Deep State hates Trump because he plans to cut out all its bureaucratic waste (using Musk, Vivek, and Tulsi). And the Swamp and the media (owned in part by the Deep State in an incestual relationship) hate him for similar reasons (i.e., he's going to clean house).

The essay explains the situation pretty well.

The "progressives" have been ruling against the will of the people for at least 50 years.

Because he isn’t a thief in the system. He’s not gorging himself on the gravy train. If anything, he’s the threat to those that are because he knows what they’re doing.

I recall this one guy, he went into a Synagogue where ‘business’ was being conducted, he then turned over all the tables saying that this place of worship had been turned into a den of thieves. They all hated him, ended up killing the guy even though he’d done nothing wrong.

Three, actually. Donald Trump from January 2017-January 2019, with the worthless RINO republican’ts Mitch McConnell and Paul Ryan as Senate and House majority “leaders”.

“Same with Trump. He is a threat to them.”

Yep. It’s a line from some gangster movie, I don’t know which one:

You can’t control an honest cop.

Trump doesn’t owe anyone, and he’s not corrupt, which makes him beyond dangerous to them.

Why does the political establishment hate Trump?

There are many armies aligned against him, but the main one is those who are in the "black books" of Jeffrey Epstein and P Diddy.
