Women are dominating early voting in the 2024 election so far, prompting concern among some of former President Donald Trump's allies.
Women are outpacing men in casting ballots nationally and in all seven battleground states, according to NBC News' tracker of early ballot returns. Of the more than 58 million mail-in and early in-person votes that have been cast nationally, 54 percent were cast by women and 44 percent by men.
In the swing states of Pennsylvania, Michigan, Georgia and North Carolina, there is at least a 10-point gap between men and women in the early vote. The gender gap was widest in Pennsylvania as of 2 a.m. ET on Thursday, with women accounting for about 56 percent of the early vote, and men for about 43 percent.

My wife has been all in for Trump since he came down the elevator in 2015.
Agree!
we read lots of cr@p on the Internet, but I guess if it was posted there, it must be true. Zero chance Trump is this close to Harris with women. Biden beat Trump by 15% in 2020. If Trump gets below a 12% gap with women, that would be a miracle.
If you are a man OR a woman, and you vote for abortion, you’re voting for murder and for our replacement by Third-World immigrants!
Vote Trump/Vance!
>>Harris wins women by 12…
Harris may win women by 12, but she doesn’t win Republican women by 12. The party breakdown of the early vote matters a lot more than the men/women breakdown.
LOL- i vote on election day- that’s it.
It’s not all women, it the SWFs.
Stupid White Females.
Or the variation. SWLFs.
Stupid White Liberal Females.
The statistic I would like? Married vs Single women. Married women vote for family. Single women vote for sex without consequences and government handouts. We will ALWAYS lose young, single women.
No more Blue
No matter who
You mean men are waiting until the last minute to do something?
Have you ever been in a store on Christmas Eve?
Seriously, we’re supposed to despair and commit seppuku over a NEWSWEEK article?
Whatever. Just vote and continue pushing forward. Emotional responses aren’t real.
Yes I can see lots of reasons to question the significance of this.
1 If the numbers are better for us than in 2020 or 2022, then just focusing on this year’s women turnout is not the key.
2 I think this is an NBC poll, not official numbers?
However, I have a worry that I’m not sure can be answered before the election. We definitely have pushed early voting this time, which is great. But will that mean less dominance in election day voting?
So this may be difficult to predict on early turnout, though polling has been encouraging.
I have one big problem with the Trump campaign, and that is the lack of a commercial to directly answer the constant Kamala ads saying “Trump will cut social security and Medicare”.
Boy, that one seems very important to me.
Quell my curiosity. How would DJT convince even one leftist, pro-abortion, nanny state loving, masculine
despising feminist to vote for him?
“Democrats are facing outpacing Republicans in Pennsylvania and Michigan.””
You quoted it, read it.
I expect Arizona, North Carolina and Georgia to go to Trump. Hopefully Nevada. But Trump has to win Pennsylvania or Michigan.
“Which means these women are voting GOP “
Wrong, it means GOP women are voting, not that women are voting GOP. Based on the abortion referendum elections in Ohio and Kansas, Harris will get some of the GOP women vote.
...unless somebody else has already voted in your name by early voting. In that case, you might, at best, get a provisional ballot that will never be counted.
That is why I voted as soon as I could get my ballot.
I don't like it, but one must adapt to changing times.
EVERY woman I know is voting for Trump....just sayin’
Women and people are the reason Derp State has to steal elections.
Enough of Deep State’s base has left to swing elections.
And the people who’ve left won’t be going back.
Uh, every other poll and indication is that Harris is collapsing. If this was turning the tide, Trump would not be campaigning in New Mexico and Harris would not be campaigning in Virginia and pulling out of North Carolina. I’m not going to worry about this too much. And I voted already.
Lots of women in MAGA. Most meetings are 75% female.
