Wurtsmith AFB (closed) is used by Kalitta Air Transport (Doug and Connie).
They have contracts with the US military, intel-groups and plain-Jane government groups to move people and equipment worldwide.
They have been used in the past for in-CONUS troop movement.
I go to church with his nephew.

LiveNowFox House Map in follow-up to this post.
Election info derived from AP data and reports.
Note races left to call, the number of ‘R’ leaning races and the update time.
If you go to the map at:
https://www.livenowfox.com/election/election-results-map-president-house-senate-2024
You can hover over the districts to get a “count remaining” and candidates count/percentages.
My previous opinion stands; AP has a difficult time calling races for the Pubbie but wastes little time to claim a win for the Demonz.
so, what does the nephew have to say about WHY FEMA is staging 350 truck stocked with emergency supplies in michigan instead of shipping them out to Helene victims in WNC?
what’s about to happen in MI?
Kalitta Air Transport? Gummint contractor? Operating from a “closed” AFB? I guess I have to put them on my “keep an eye” list? That has the sound of the old CIA Air America during the Veetnam years. It was home ported in McMinnville, OR as Evergreen Aviation, now mostly inactive but home of the Spruce Goose. They faded when the major owner, Del Webb, passed on some years ago. In the later years they disguised it as an air museum with a collection of nice old war birds. I guess they had to do something with the cash?
Most of the birds have since been moved to Madras, OR where they have a nice, super dry, home.
