I think more of Vance each time he shows us what he is made of. They just can't stand up to him and they can't stand that he sustains his composure while they go off the rails.

I wonder if one day he won't give one of them a dressing down by telling them that unless they are able to calm down and behave at least professionally the conversation has ended and it is their choice.

Jake Tapper is totally stunned by J.D. Vance's statements. When J.D. said that Mike Pence and other "conservatives" (as Tapper called them) thought they could control President Trump (i.e., tame down his "Drain the Swamp" approach), Tapper laughed at Vance.

Pence was in the House for 12 years and a governor who had a reputation as a conservative. Trump thought Pence could help him work with Congress. But Pence is the same as the rest of the Washington insider career do-nothing politicians (both Republican & Democrat). RINO Pence is now intensely anti-Trump. So far, RINO Pence hasn't endorsed kommieLa (as former VP RINO Dick Cheney already has) but I wouldn't put it past him these next two weeks. Clearly, Jake Tapper cluelessly thinks RINOs Dick Cheney & Mike Pence are "true conservatives." Tapper doesn't get it. True conservatives don't want endless international wars and endless U.S. funding of international wars.

Jake Tapper laughing at Vance while he's answering is not a good look for a supposedly "unbiased" reporter. Saw Kaitlan Collins on Colbert a few months ago. As expected, Colbert tried to kiss her ass by saying the following about CNN: "I know you guys are objective over there, that you just report the news as it is ..." (Entire Colbert audience breaks out into huge laughter.)

Kaitlan Collins: "Is that supposed to be a laugh line?"

Colbert: "It wasn't supposed to be but, uh, I GUESS IT IS." (as Colbert shrugs his shoulders with a smirk)

In other words ... the entire Colbert audience is in on the joke that CNN is "unbiased" ... and from Colbert's own reaction to Kaitlan's question, it's clear that Colbert is also in on the joke, too. Colbert doesn't actually believe anything he says about politics. It's just that Colbert discovered long ago that he could make a ton of money constantly bashing President Trump. Money talks.
