Find out if you're accidentally sharing your location with Google, Apple apps and services blog.google, support.apple.com When mobile apps first hit the scene, many were designed to make our phones more useful. This included new tools for productivity, as well as apps for entertainment. Many of today’s apps, though, are packed with sneaky permission requests and hidden trackers.
These tactics are legal because app developers (and the companies behind them) have to give you a choice to opt in or out of these tracking permissions. Unfortunately, not everyone knows how to do that … or the developers make it really challenging to figure it out.
Keep reading, and I’ll walk you through how to turn off these invasive tracking options.

“Exactly—zero apps.”
Just last week I used the Lowes app to find the aisle and bin numbers for an item.

Kim rocks.
“Exactly—zero apps.”
I use the Publix app that lists the BOGOs. Just click on an item and it adds it to your shopping list.

MY AT & T LAND LINE PRINCESS PHONE ON THE TABLE DOES JUST FINE. CORD IS 50 FEET LONG.

Is apk pure a safe place to get android apps
It is a mistake to think that an entity gathering, gleaning, or collecting your data is ever disappointed.
LOL! Wrong person to ask. My phone, although it could do more, is mostly make a call or take a call. Taking calls is iffy. If I’m expecting one or it’s someone on my contacts list. Random calls? Nope.
Cool.
I was one of the world’s (<7500 at the time.) Certified OS/2 Engineers.

“Reminds me of ‘on star’. If they can unlock your doors, they can likely turn off your car too.”
They certainly can and they do it for law enforcement all the time.

I wouldn’t say any of them are secret. And if you turn them don’t expect to find a restaurant near you anymore, cause they won’t know where you are.
I hope they are keeping up with my and my hubby’s doctor’s appointments and will remind me 24 hours in advance. I’d hate to miss one since that seems to be the only socializing we do these days.
You meet some interesting people in the doctor’s waiting room. I know some say not to bring up politics in such a setting, but we just can’t help ourselves. It’s a much more interesting discussion than the home renovation show they have on their TV.
So far, our polling (and this is from voters of all races and from all walks of life) shows Trump with 90% support and Kamala with about 10%).
I assume I’m being tracked on my phone 24/7. I’m positive I’m tracked by Amazon, ad agencies, and of course the U.S. government. I’m sure they get frustrated when we don’t leave the house for days at a time or my phone is turned off and left upstairs on the charger.
It makes sense on why Zuckerberg is "pro-Trump" all of a sudden.
He knows that Trump is going to win the election. So he's sucking up to him now.
One hot summer day I said to my wife, “I could kill for a beer.”
Right away, beer and firearms ads showed up on my laptop, and divorce lawyer ads showed up on hers.
(it’s a joke, I think ... OR IS IT?)
Give me points and plugs with zero computers! 🤔😊👍
Quite easy to tap however.
I have told people for years that my next car was gonna be a ‘65 chevy C-10 pickup with a straight 6 and a powerglide. But collectors have put that out of reach, unfortunately.

I was my father’s points and plugs mechanic. Also drum brake adjuster.
Haven’t had to do a tune up or brake adjustment in the last 50 years.
That’s a time savings of about a full working year!
Plus the savings on parts.
