The Anxiety Election

It's not just Canada that is confronting weak leadership hopelessly out of touch with voter concerns.

I read an Economist editorial that highlighted Canadians' concerns about their economy, farm sector, immigration policy, and other things affected by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's uber-progressive leadership.

The piece suggested that Trudeau doesn't listen to them. Instead of taking the criticism head-on, Trudeau has the propensity to couch these real issues from the voters in a soft psychological manner, as if his citizen's concerns are somehow imaginary.

In other words, 'joy' over substance is a strategy very much like Kamala Harris's presidential campaign in the U.S.

Fox News host Brett Baier's 22-minute one-on-one interview with Harris highlighted the endless loop of canned talking points that Harris has seemingly memorized to perfection.

Don't even try to break her out of a feedback loop of her handlers' creation; the ever-present Secret Service might take exception!

But wouldn't it be great if, somehow, we could get her off track long enough to see who she really is? I'm convinced that if she were pushed hard enough to derail herself, she'd lock up and start babbling; I'm sure of it.

Let's agree: as a nation, we're more anxious and psychologically beat up than at any time in living memory.

It's easy to understand why, as our time-honored beliefs that have allowed for the creation of the greatest nation on Earth, beliefs that have been valid and normal for most of our existence expressed through words, actions, and laws, are systematically being nullified, replaced with Marxist, progressive imperatives. We've been redefined into a confused morass that has everyone on edge on both sides of the political aisle.

The norms of society are intentionally being scrambled.

Everyone I know is very stressed these days. And there are a wide variety of crises — moral, economic, military, political, etc. Some are calling this a metacrisis or a polycrisis. Everything breaks down all at once. I hope Jesus comes back soon.

“I hope Jesus comes back soon.”

Keep an eye on Israel. Things are getting interesting there.

They ain’t seen nothing yet. If Kamala takes the POTUS position the economy will come off the rails as they double down on “Green Energy” and EV’s. Trucking costs will double for goods coming out of California as truckers are forced to adopt electric trucks. All the Chinese made goods including practically all the Pharmaceuticals will double in cost. The supply chain disruption will force massive layoffs and the economy will run off the rails into recession.

Then of course they’ll release the next pandemic.

We have to elect her to find out what she’s about. And if she wins boy will we ever find out.
