If the Deep State goes full into fraud and force, there will at best be secession of the South, the lower Midwest, the Plains and northern Rocky Mountain states. At worst, it would be a civil war with the Feds holding the east coast from Norfolk north to Canada, the immediate west coast, but not interior Washington, Oregon, and California, plus Hawaii and urban centers from Buffalo to Denver and southward to New Orleans and the five largest Texas cities. Possibly the Black Belt of the mid South as well and the Indian reservations. The military, especially the National Guard, will have mass defections. Basically America will be like Vietnam, Iraq, and Afghanistan, with Allied forces controlling the cities and military bases and the rest of the country being "Indian territory."

The military and Federal police agencies simply lack the resources to pacify the entire country, especially with defections. Those defections allowed Franco to organize a successful overthrow of Spain's Marxist regime in the 1930s.

Deep State leadership will have to call on foreign military assistance. The Chinese, Russians, Iranians, and the Latin American Communist countries will oblige them, at a huge price. Also, Mexico may want to enter the show to recoup their territorial losses in 1836 and 1848. Remember that when the post-Roman Britons were threatened by Pictish and Gaelic invaders, they turned to the Angles, Saxons, and Jutes for military aid. Their warriors defeated the Celtic threat but then took over what became England, killing or driving out the natives.
