The production issue reportedly arose due to machined chips between the cutting tool and the fuel pump creating excessive torque and leading to cracking in the solenoid.

Maybe their engineers should test this stuff before the install it.

They should recall all of the CR-Vs (CRap Vehicles) because for some strange reason, every time there’s one in front of you on the road, the driver is going 10mph below the speed limit.

Does any one know why there is a solenoid component on a Honda fuel pump? What is its function? Does it not have an electric motor.
