Yeah... I bet they did. But facts are facts. Kelly IS a dishonorable liar. He IS a board member of a company that does business with neonazi Ukraine. And his company counts on contracts that will surely dry up under Trump.

And when was Kelly lying? Was he lying when he defended Trump repeatedly as Chief of Staff? Or is he lying now?

Those reasons I listed are why he had to resort to active generals for some positions.

By the way, when Kelly said Trump was upset about disloyal military commanders, he was. They simply ignored his orders on getting out of Syria, they ignored his orders to the Navy to “knock it off” on persecuting Eddie Gallagher, they flipped the finger to his policy of discharging trannies and more. The Army supported and promoted Vindman the Ukrainian traitor and sent him to the War College. Milley freaked out when Trump tried to restore order in the Black riots of 2020.

In the past such Generals would resign. Now they stay and spy on and undermine his policies.

I think during his first term Trump was an outsider who didn’t really understand how Washington works. He thought he could trust the recommendations of established Republicans and that they were on his side. He had to find out the hard way just how deep the deep state goes. McConnell is exhibit A. I don’t see him making that mistake again.

I gave him benefit of the doubt because his son was killed by a landmine in Afghanistan. He seems to have gone wrong instead and now supports Kamala and the policies that are killing America and did kill his son.

For some reason the Marines have produced a bumper crop of globalist woke generals.

I think Kelly dropped other turds in the punchbowl while working as a mole in the President's circle, in a trusted role where candid even heated private conversations could be twisted. Remember the frappe over Trump's visit to Normandy where “someone” leaked Trumps comments about ‘losers” being honored at the ceremony ( almost surely a response to the Germans being invited for the first time, though it was twisted to report Trump was referring to the American dead)

I think Trump pissed off Kelly when they together visited the grave of Kelly's son at Arlington, and Trump wondered aloud what it was that the troops killed in Afghanistan died for. The General took offense and then got even more twisted by snakes whispering to him that Trump had no sense of honor or dying for a cause greater than himself….

And instead of resigning, the General stayed with Trump as a disloyal backstabbing TDS leaker to the press of stories to discredit Trump

Grief-brain or not…Kelly did historically bad and damaging things to the POTUS

When Donald Trump returns to the White House he has to remove the Security Clearances from all of these former Generals who ran amuck during his administration and violated the Constitution and their oaths of office.

They thought that the President had to respond to their decisions instead of following the orders of the President.

Strip the clearances and the chance for big money military contractor employment go’s right out the window.

Mitch McConnel will no longer be twisting his arm, that’s a big help right there. Plus now he knows who a lot of the deepstaters are and some who are not.

Game of Thrones is not an easy game to play. People change sides at the drop of a Mcfry.

And I’m thinking that, just maybe, I don’t really have any advice to offer a man of President Trump’s stature from my vantage point behind my computer keyboard and monitor.

Really? The POTUS is our employee, not our god. People who intend to be POTUS need to make great hiring decisions. I cast my vote for Trump yesterday - I expect him to win and I expect him to make far better hires this time around. But that's just little old me - you do you.

>> Really?

Yes. Really.

>> The POTUS is our employee, not our god.

Well, duh. It’s just that I don’t believe I have anything to actually contribute to his hiring and vetting process that he doesn’t already know, or have access to. And, quite frankly, from what little I know about you, I can’t discern anything YOU have to offer him either. Just, like so many here, to shake your head, clutch your pearls, nay-say, second-guess, and bitch. I don’t believe that sort of discouraging noise is helpful to accomplish Job #1, which is to GET HIM ELECTED. So I choose not to be sucked into that chorus of keyboard bitchers you’re trying to orchestrate. Okay? Okay.

Well, duh.

It really wasn't clear that you understood that. I'm still not sure you do.

It’s just that I don’t believe I have anything to actually contribute to his hiring and vetting process that he doesn’t already know, or have access to. And, quite frankly, from what little I know about you, I can’t discern anything YOU have to offer him either.

I'm not in touch with Trump, so I wouldn't be able to offer him any advice anyway. I don't need to - I just need my employee to be better at his job. Trump was good at his job, and is miles ahead of the only other current applicant for the job, which is why I cast my vote to hire him again. But his own hires were not that good. He needs to fix his hiring process - I don't.

I can see that you're getting upset - getting your panties in a wad was not my intention. My intention was and is to point out the fact that these government officials work for us. We have a right to expect certain things from them, hold them to certain standards and call them out when they don't. Trump's hires were not good. I expect better this time around.

Are you sure you get that? Do you normally just count on prayer to ensure that everyone you hire does the best job they can?
