I'll grant that he's creative, but have a hard time forgiving his butchering of Sleepy Hollow. Turning Ichabod Crane into a nerdy NYPD inspector and sending him up the Hudson to investigate a mystery was an idea with some pretty fun potential. Casting Christopher Walken as the headless horseman offered further promise.

Casting Johnny Depp as Ichabod Crane started to sour the process and the people who were entrusted with writing and approving the story line and script ran the project entirely off the rails.
