Woody Johnson bought his piece of sports entertainment in the New York Jets for $635 million in 2000. The team was valued at more than $3 billion in 2019. He got the NFL and the taxpayers to buy half a new stadium for the Jets along with the New York Giants. He understands that sportsball is just a business and knows he needn't bother paying for a real team when he can sell the viewing time of wannabees in the New York area to advertisers because those wannabees will watch regardless of how bad the team is.
He's selling to losers, and a lot of them. Winners aren't watching the Jets... or any NFL team for that matter.
Well the murderer was not on the Florida team when he committed the murder, so there’sthat. Crab legs Winston WAS on FSU’s team when he lifted the delectable sea food. And he won the Heisman trophy and a National championship. So it evens out.
I refuse to read any article that includes “beef” in the title. That’s got to be the stupidest word to emerge in 2024.
