Yes, DeSantis has been a great Gov. He is also in bed financially with the Bush wing of your party.

The firsts sentence outweighs the second for me. DeSantis isn't governing like a Bush-ite. Florida already had one of those in Jeb, and DeSantis is nothing like him. When he says he's America-first, I believe him - so far he's put Florida first.

Well I don’t know. The trust is gone for me. It was how he campaigned in the primary, the DS talking points he spouted (one was about funding Ukraine), the big pocket guys who actually funded his campaign and the GOP elites he cozied up to in order to get that funding.

And where I’m at in the state I’m not alone in this lack of trust. I can see him successfully rehabbing his image, running for higher office, getting elected and then governing like the Deep State Bush wing of your party. So no, he may be a great Gov, but the trust for higher office is gone.
