The sister of a murdered schoolgirl has found love with the brother of her killer, and they now have two children together. Jessica Aylward was only 13 when her sister Rebecca, 15, was lured into the woods and brutally killed by her ex-boyfriend Joshua Davies.

The horrific crime was committed by Davies, who was 16 at the time, after he made a chilling bet with his friends that he would kill for a cooked breakfast. Over a decade later, it has been revealed that Jessica is in a relationship with Davies' brother Jordan, the Sun reports.

The couple, who have been together for at least six years and have two children, have shared photos online celebrating their unusual love story. Jessica, now 27, confirmed: "I am with Jordan, who is Josh’s brother and we have a family together. I don’t have any contact with my mother." She also expressed her affection for Jordan online, saying: "Happy birthday to my Jordy who gave me two beautiful babies, thank you for everything you always do for us. We love you to the moon and back twice."

Jessica also mentioned that Jordan, 28, comes from a "handsome" family and praised the brothers’ mother, Hayley, despite her other son still being incarcerated. Jordan paid tribute to his partner on Valentine’s Day last year, writing: "I would like to say a happy valentines to the love of my life and the mother of our beautiful children. I am so lucky to have you by my side through thick and thin and to call you my partner. I love you impossible girl."

Joshua Davies was convicted of murdering his ex-partner Rebecca after heartlessly placing a bet on the deed. Now 30, the court heard at the time he had considered how to "get rid of" her in advance. He chillingly told his friends two days before the October 2010 incident, "You may owe me a breakfast." In an act of deceit and brutality, Davies enticed Rebecca into the woods near Aberkenfig, where he crushed her head with a stone as large as a rugby ball. She was later found dead, dressed in new outfits she'd purchased for their meet-up.

Rebecca and Joshua Davies had known eachother for years and were romantically involved for around three months. To mislead investigators, Joshua concocted a bogus alibi, claiming he was "chilling" at home watching Strictly Come Dancing as the homicide took place. However, his attempt at deception fell apart due to a Facebook after the murder stating, "I enjoyed a rather good day and a lovely breakfast."

Initially, he deflected guilt onto a friend, but despite his lies he received a guilty verdict in July 2011 and was sentenced to life imprisonment with a minimum term of 14 years. It's been reported that Joshua eventually confessed to a probation officer, allegedly telling them, "I did it, nobody else was involved. I am totally responsible."

In a previous statement, Sonia expressed: "Joshua’s sentence is shorter than Rebecca’s life — it’s an insult. "That cowardly monster planned to kill my beautiful daughter in the most horrific way possible. He should never be released.

I can’t celebrate special occasions and I have an empty chair at my dinner table because Rebecca should be here with us enjoying life. "Joshua Davies robbed us of watching our precious and perfect little girl flourish into a successful young woman.

"We will never forgive him for tearing our world apart so brutally. She was a much loved daughter and sister." Sonia did not respond to The Sun’s requests for a comment on her daughter’s relationship.

Survival instinct and pattern recognition is severely lacking.

Siblings can be very different from each other.

My BIL's are sweethearts. Two of my SIL's are unpleasant people with one being forbidden the house. And my other three SIL's are sisters of my heart.

Is that a headline, or is it the chorus to the worst country song of all time?

"My Man Made Me the Mother of the Nieces of His Brother Who Kilt Mah Kin"
