Eggplant
Actually - just don’t eat eggplant.
It’s gross. Yuckie.
OMG you are just to funny, I was just about to throw a spotted owl into my air fryer THEN I saw your post just in time!!!
I air dried kale with some oil and salt and made some tasty kale chips.
One Day I came home with a larger and more boxy Farberware Air Fryer. She absolutely loved it. But like a microwave oven when they first came out, the Air Fryer excels at warming left overs. For warming, it does not make meat tough and does not make bread tough.
So we have 2 kitchen carts in our kitchen, one with microwave and the other with the air fryer. We also have the largest oven I could find when we did kitchen remodel.
Wife and I share the kitchen. I have my dishes and she has her dishes that we cook. We are dangerous when we both are in the kitchen. When my wife's daughter married in sunrise ceremony, my wife and I cooked a breakfast for a huge number of people, for after the short ceremony. It was absolutely amazing. Everyone who came had nothing but praises for the food and deserts. It was buffet style, they came back for 2nd's +.
I don’t see soup.
That would be difficult.
We have an air fryer that looks like a microwave oven with double doors.
It has about 20 presets that do a really good job of cooking those particular items correctly.
One of the presets is for Dehydrating. THAT has been fun. We have dehydrated fruit and made our own snacks. We cut leftover meat into small-ish chunks and turn them into treats for our dog.
Note:
In the 1980’s I bought a Farberware Turbo Oven (a convection oven) It was the size of a small conventional oven, but cooked 25% faster and browned things beautifully. I still have it, it is not in the kitchen right now. It will not heat as fast as an air fryer but results are similar. Great for Bread.
I have the T-fal Actifry air fryer the one that moves the food so you have to watch what you put in it ,LOL
Timmah Walz Special Pheasant a la Air Fry: since he can’t load the gun properly, approach the pheasant silently then whack it on the head with the butt end of the Beretta. Season generously with “not spicy” blend of artificial salt, alcohol free lager, and ethanol free corn meal. Cram into the air fryer basket and cook to desired internal temperature. Serve with lutefisk.
best served in the original shell with the snail darter sauce as part of a full and unique dining experience. presentation is everything. bon appetit!
By any chance is your air fryer one made by Emeril Lagasse? I don’t currently have an air fryer but am in the market for one. I did buy a reg pod looking one but it was so big/clunky looking and took up too much room on my counter. I don’t have room to store it in a cabinet when not in use. After a week of looking at this thing, it still looked out of place and I hated seeing it sit there, so I took it back without using it.
I have a toaster oven I use pretty regular and thought about buying that Emeril Lagasse double door air fryer that does different things [air fry, toaster oven, etc] to replace my toaster oven. It is a little pricey but if its a good product I don’t mind. And I especially like not having to add another appliance to the counter space. The only thing holding me back from the purchase is I have yet to find anybody who has one and can give me an honest review. Yes, there are great reviews on the website, but it is their website. Appreciate any input if anyone can advise about this.
I just did garlic/parmesan steak bites in mine. Turned out great...
For a larger steak? 2 hours in the smoker (hickory or oak) and 4 minutes (2 per side) on a hot grill (500 degrees) for a reverse sear.
I have been thinking about getting an air fryer but I do not like non-stick materials. Are the metal baskets in the fryers covered in non-stick stuff or are they just plain metal?
😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😁.............................
I love Eggplant Parmesan!.....................
Ah, Haitian cuisine!
Say you have $50k lying around, you could overhaul your kitchen, or hire a cook and never have to go in there again for years!
Never had an air fryer, haven’t used the stove since I was a teenager. There’s a microwave in my home office. Life is good without culinary challenges and problems.
I use mine every day. I love the thing.
