Exactly..especially tiny babies, 1-3 months old, you dont leave them in a swing and just leave..they have to be watched constantly
Eastern European mothers, and I suppose some Asian one as well, still ‘swaddle’ their babies like their ancestors have done for millennia.
Wrapping a baby in a cocoon-like bundle does not allow the baby to turn over and suffocate and it also quieten the baby from crying so much because it simulates the baby being still in the womb.
Perhaps Americans and Western mothers should learn the basics all over again.
But that would be bad for business like Fischer-Price and others.🙄........................
