To my eyes, it seems the storm is breaking apart to some extent.
I’m about 100 miles from the eye. There’s been more rain here than forecast, but no tree limbs are down from what I see.

Pray for my son, who is a doctor in St Petersburg. He reported to the hospital this AM and will not be off shift until Friday AM at the earliest.
I am thankful that he is in a place that should be structurally solid, has continuous power, water and food. As a father, I wish her were in a hotel in some distant city.

Thanks.
We have had zero communication from people on the west and the east coast of Florida.

I’ve heard from a friend who’s in a Tampa suburb within the last couple hours. He’s ok.

Our friends are now in what is supposed to be a storm proof home on the East coast.

Lots of Mobile Home parks in that area.
Mostly Senior Citizens.
Praying with you!
I have to go to work now, so I won’t be online for a while, but I will still be praying.

They are in what is considered to be a safe home with auto generators and other amenities. The home owners are in Canada, so the timing is good for both couples.

Impressive app. Thanks for posting.
The “nearby webcams” link is quite nice. Interesting that the freeways appear deserted.
Hopefully signs of an effective evacuation.
