CNN’s Chris Wallace on Why He Left Fox News: I Have A Problem With ‘Conspiracy and Lies’

Chris Wallace, who’s been an anchor and political reporter for half a century, believes the news business has changed drastically since his career began. In those years, he’s held coveted positions at most of the major networks – ABC, NBC, and of course, Fox News. In 2021, after nearly two decades as the anchor of Fox News Sunday, he quit the network for a job at its rival CNN.

On Mediaite’s Press Club, Wallace spoke at length about the circumstances that lead to his departure from the network. “I had no problem with conservative opinion any more than I do with liberal opinion,” he told Mediaite editor in chief Aidan McLaughlin. “But what I do have a problem with is conspiracy and lies. The truth is non-negotiable.”

Mike Wallace praises Richard Nixon for condoning what he believed to be criminality committed by Kennedy and Johnson in stealing the 1960 election.

all Mike Wallace condemns Donald Trump for opposing what he believed to be criminality committed by Democrat operatives in stealing the 2020 election.

Wallace levels his condemnation on Trump because he misunderstands the constitutional process for contesting elections, a process that runs well past article III courts, past the electoral college, and into the House of Representatives and the Vice President oof the United States. Wallac willfully misunderstands in order to reach the condemnatio his bias desires. He arbitrarily cuts off the constitutional process to contest presidential election to feed is bias.

To this day Mike Wallace holds the opinion that the 1960 presidential election was fraudulent yet he condemns Donald Trump and 70% of Republicans are holding the same view about the 2020 election. There is plenty of evidence that the 2020 election was both rigged and stolen that clearly justifies such an opinion in any reasonable observer.

The Supreme Court has just held that official acts of the President of the United States are not subject to inquiry in a criminal proceeding and the reason for that is quite simple, the that in the execution of his office must be free of fear that the weight of the federal criminal law will be brought down upon him after he leaves office because his policies or actions are somehow disfavored. Mike Wallace not only violates this firm constitutional principle, but he extends it to requiring a former president to recant his views while in office if he wishes to escape criticism. According to Wallace and other leftists, Trump must recant or he is a threat to democracy.

When Trump attempted by litigation, persuasion, public discourse, and by utilizing the remedies provided for in the Constitution itself, he served a public purpose, a very worthy public purpose, one that is part of the history of our Republic.

It literally sounds like he was let go because he has a predilection for “Conspiracies and Lies.”

What a truthful title!

Wallace is a jughead and a liar. He belongs at CNN, the Comedy “News” Network. He should have never been allowed at FOX.

Presstitutes (whores) get paid for services rendered to those who wish to be the ruling authority.

Turds like this, Scarborough, Scaramucci, Et al, are whores.

Their core is whore...their souls are commodities offered to the highest bidder.

Since evil has no boundaries to gain it's wealth/other, it can afford to pay more for it's whores.

“Haven’t watch this non-entity since megan and he tried to throw the 2016 debate.”

If you mean the first debate with Megyn Kelly, that was Brett Baier. Baier was abominable, and gave the first punch before Megyn jumped in.

Chris Wallace, ..., believes the news business has changed drastically since his career began.

It has. The media used to be sneaky with their bias, undetectable to the untrained eye.

The media now is flagrant blatant and obviously extreme rabid leftist activists in every single broadcast minute. It's why they are now properly termed the corrupt media, the truth has evaporated...sorry chrissy. The media is now the number 1 source for that dreaded "misinformation".

Well, he really does have a problem with conspiracy and lies. There may be some psychiatrists that could help him with with that, but going to church might help, too.
