How did they miss Tyler Chicken? That alcoholic chicken of theirs goes well with their wings.
Popeye’s is the first one in my area. Half of the list is hours away from me at best.
I don’t eat a lot of chicken wings, but yesterday, I had some at I Got My Sound, a Korean chicken shack in Fullerton, Calif. This may not be for everyone, especially those who like mild, subtle flavors and eschew bold cuisines that get in your face. These wings are flavored with Szechuan peppercorns, which are not related to black peppercorns but are from a variety of ash tree that grows in the foothills of the Himalayas. They are very spicy and cause your lips and tongue to become somewhat numb, but they are loaded with antioxidants.
I will be going back.

Wings, along with the backbone, neck and feet belong in a stockpot to make delicious bone broth.

most of those names, I don’t associate with wings anyway. Little Caesar’s? Their pizza isn’t so good, so I wouldn’t expect their wings to be either.
Bbq is my favorite on the list but there are a few batter ones near me.

I will make it a point to try the wings on that list except Buffalo Wild Wings. Been there, done that . Not impressed.

My favorite wings are my own. Coat em in a mix of flour, corn starch, paprika, garlic powder, paprika, cayenne, salt and pepper. Then roll in a bowl of melted butter and put on a foil covered sheet pan. Bake in a 450 oven for 15 minutes turn and another 15. Amazing.

The quality of wings varies so much, even within franchises.
We have a local franchise wing place that can be astonishingly good one time, and then the next 3 or 4 times it’s like eating cardboard slathered with congealed, way-too salty but strangely bland at the same time “sauce” — no thank you
Best wings IMO are homemade (I’m partial to Garlic-Parm or Hot Honey BBQ) — and then you throw the bones, the ends and anything else left over into the big Ziploc “scraps” freezer bag for bone broth
They forgot to mention the totally inedible 7-11 wings that they practically give away?

I make my own, now. Oven roasted, usually with a Frank’s-honey sauce.
Best wings, hands down, are the ones from Publix. We get them naked and sauce them at home with Frank’s and a little butter. So good, and not pricey at all.
