Accounts Hacked (My Son's)
10/7/2024 | Me

Posted on 10/07/2024 7:35:13 AM PDT by ducttape45

Hello all. Just wanted to pass on word so ya'all will have a head's up.

I was notified by son in FL that all his online credentials was hacked. He didn't go into specifics (I'm sure that will be forthcoming) but he had to migrate to a new email address and his financial logon credentials had to be changed as well. I was also informed by my ex-wife that her Google Play was hacked as well.

I hear this kind of stuff is on the rise, so I implore all my fellow Freepers to be on their guard. I never store any financial info on my phone or computer, and I never use Google Play either. I have only one bank app on my phone and I rarely use it. I also keep all sensitive info off my home network. I keep it all on external drives and I get it out only when I need it.

So please, I implore everyone, take extra precautions. It seems these days this kind of stuff is happening more and more and I would hate to hear of any of you having the same experience.

“The founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin are each controlling around 3% of all shares, but are controlling with other insiders the majority of voting shares. “

So your previous post about Vanguard, Blackrock and Statestreet owning Google was misleading ...

Pls explain how your non word jumble of letters is different than z3s? Is it an acronym and why store it on your computer?

“Google is connected to BlackRock’s infamous “Alladin” mainframe. “

How is it connected?

I get in my car and physically DRIVE TO THE BANK. My personal security system is flawless... I do absolutely NO online banking or important business. I do it IN PERSON.

I just recently opened an account at a local bank and I do the same thing. No using more USAA, no more using Navy FCU. Those accounts have just a few dollars in each so there are no funds to steal. Like you, all my banking will be done locally now.

It doesn’t cost a dime to unfreeze it.

Don’t be stupid. If these corporations own Alphabet, and alphabet owns Google, then the parent corporations also own Google. How do you turn something so simple into something so inept? It must take some real effort to twist something completely out of context and reality like that.

So what you are saying is there is a difference between who owns Kroger and who owns Smiths? No the same people own both. Look if you are going to play childish with semantics then we have nothing more to discuss. I don’t have time for the childish mind games.

I gave you irrefutable evidence. If you are too dense minded to understand it then that is on you.

I did it six years ago when I got a new job and it cost me five bucks. I think it varies state-by-state.

I’m not wasting my time with childishness anymore. If you don’t believe it go look for yourself. Because even if I give it all to you lock, stock, and barrel you will still continue to play this childish game anyhow. I have proven my claims over and over and over to you, and still you have not learned and continue to play the games.

Blackrock, Vanguard and Statestreet are not parent corporations for Google.

You said insiders had controlling interests.

"Lifelock themselves were hacked and customer’s data stolen."

So was Change Healthcare, the company that processes Medicare claims. They got hit with Ransom Ware, and paid a ransom to get the system unlocked.

“You said you had all the connections.”

OK, one last time because I think it is important info for others to know...

And then I will consider you no longer worth talking to because you don’t even have the integrity to admit when you are wrong.

Does anyone have their credit frozen? It is very easy to do and easy to unfreeze if you want to open a credit card.
Well worth the trouble. If someone steals your ID they wont be able to run up your credit.

That is a very good idea. I don’t worry, I have no credit and don’t want any... I have saved up and paid cash for everything and never used credit.

You: No I didn’t.

Your #39: The founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin are each controlling around 3% of all shares, but are controlling with other insiders the majority of voting shares.

If I were really cautious I would write them on paper and put that in the safe. But I want the convenience of having it in a file on my computer.

Not sure what you mean by z3s. My jumbles of letters are definitely not acronyms, just randomly typed letters. Most password rejection dictionaries have every 5 letter combo so that's why I start with 6. I add a number and/or special if that's demanded.

The point is that complexity is irrelevant unless the server that your provider is running has been hacked and the hashes were stolen. But if the server was hacked then it's game over. Your password can be 200 characters long and the hacker will grab it easily as it comes across in plain text.

Really? Yep, still stuck on stupid... That is a direct quote from the source not me. The quotations are there...

If you went and read the source evidence I gave you then you would have known this. But see, you don’t do that, you just play stupid immature word games.

You need to up your game to a more intelligent level, you are now like 5 and 0 now this morning. You like making yourself look like a fool? Had to ask because you are getting pretty good at it.
