It’s not just the government. It’s pervaded into every level of the professional world as well. I submitted an abstract for consideration to present at my professional organization’s annual conference yesterday and in order to do so I had to check a box that said I was committed to DEI. This is an engineering organization.
Unbelievable.

I had to check a box that said I was committed to DEI. I am weeks away from retirement and I have to watch a bunch of offensive videos of losers telling me how to behave. I am pretty much committed to DEI because I am going to enjoy watching woke corporate America implode over the next 20 years.

Same here. I had to complete an utterly useless training about workplace sexual harassment. Fine, I sat through the training which was nothing more than a sequence of video clips. But at the end, in order for the training to be considered complete, I had to check a little box that said: "I am committed to DEI."
Well, I'm not committed to DEI at all. In fact, I think it's pernicious.
