Given that the FBI is today’s democRAT gestapo, not using them for security clearances is good advice.

Frankly, Trump should fire the entire executive branch and make them all apply for their jobs. Some will get rehired, some won’t.

Perhaps because EVERY FBI employee is subject to having their own security clearances taken away, along with their jobs, retirements, and freedoms.
