Garlic is amazing for ear infections. You can buy garlic oil for the purpose, but I just cut a chunk of garlic that fits in my ear and slip it in there.

I did try garlic mullein, did not work.
Antibiotic clearing it up now, will try clove if next time happens.
I’m currently treating a painful wart on one finger by taping on a slice of garlic. It will take a few days. I can only do it at night as I use my hands too much during the day, washing all the time etc.
