Them: I canāt post this online because itās not quite public yet, but government officials had a town meeting with all of the residents of chimney rock and basically told them the town was being bulldozed, bodies and all and the land was being seized by the federal government they would not be able to move back and basically their homes the ones that were standing were no longer theirs and the federal government owned it all. I donāt know what crazy play for land this is, but thereās a lot of conspiracy about lithium mines and let me just tell you, as someone who lives in Charlotte and has friends who live in the area of Western North Carolina, they are not being helped and this is actually being a stand down operation by federal government

Them: Our friend owns an Airbnb in Chimney Rock. They had a town meeting yesterday and someone from the federal government told them all of those things in the town meeting, but doesnāt want the information getting out. Also, they are not picking up the bodies. The stench of the bodies everywhere is insane and for some reason, the government does not want to pick up the bodies. One pastor of a local church was going to order to door delivering water and they changed their delivery request to body bags because so many of the homes that theyāve gone to have needed body bags, weāre trying to keep the body count. Theyāre not picking up the bodies. They donāt wanna identify the bodies and theyāre just leaving them to rot in the streets.
Me: Iā¦can’tā¦even. I’m stunned. This is beyond anything I could have imagined even very recently. You always pick up and bury the dead. It’s what humans do. They are violating every possible custom ā¦ on purpose. Thank you for keeping me informed. People need to know about this. Them: You can post it the message needs to get out. Something evil is going on in the NC mountains. I just didnāt want to be identified. Just today we filled up a trailer for a shelter in Hendersonville NC that had no food for tons of moms and babies. All the stores round are empty or locked. In Chandler NC 2000 people havenāt eaten anything or drank in 6 days and just got an SOS message out for help. Iām trying to tag the Cajun navy and operation airdrop but people are dying by the minute.
Multiple tuckers have reported having tires slashed. Our friends from Chimney Rock said they have heard multiple stories of people being robbed at gunpoint making supply runs. Two people that drove down to Charlotte yesterday and today one that we helped said bodies in trees, all over ditches in major roads back. Something weird is going on here in NC.

Them: Someone with a large national megaphone needs to amplify how bad it is. People are now starting to die trapped. My town is Operation Air Drop NC central command. They need pilots with planes and now are asking just for trucks. People with big equipment are needed but more than anything the nation needs to put pressure on Washington to deploy the National Guard asap. The 82nd was begging to go since Saturday but has been told to stand down. Every fucking Apache we have should be flying rescue missions. Please amplify the message!!!

Is it ok to use medications past their expiration dates?

The U.S. Air Force started a study in 1985 and later extended it to other military services in the early 1990s. The military had gathered a stockpile of medications worth more than a billion dollars that were close to or past their expiration dates. No one wanted to throw away expensive medications that might still be safe and effective. So, the drugs were extensively tested with oversight by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).The verdict? Most medications were still good nearly three years past their expiration dates
This looks like what I remember reading some time past, although I think one study even found medicines at least 10 years old were still effective.
While I have not kept documentary records, I have had decades of experience with this expiration phenomenon. Of course some common sense applies. Meds that have been subjected to abnormal environmental environments should be viewed suspiciously. Soft gels and powdery tablets will probably not age.
Hard tablets especially coated, are the best storage candidates. Keep in sealed dark glass containers with good tight lids. Store in dark cool dry location. I had some erythromycin tablets given to me by a friend who worked in a generic drug packaging company in the 1970s. I never figured to use them and put them away and forgot them mostly. I had a partly homeless person who had helped me in the yard about 2010. They had a severe tooth ache with swelling. I thought of the erythromycin and reluctantly gave them a five day series with a stern warning to go to a dental clinic and a warning that the antibiotic was old and probably wouldn't work. Within a few days their tooth and gums were normal.
I threw the rest away anyway right after that. I will look on my desk computer files and see if I ever obtained a copy of one of these studies.

Lab owner pleads guilty to faking COVID test results during pandemic
Ill-gotten millions bought a Bentley, Lamborghini, Tesla X, and crypto, among other things.

The co-owner of a Chicago-based lab has pleaded guilty for his role in a COVID testing scam that raked in millionsāwhich he used to buy stocks, cryptocurrency, and several luxury cars while still squirreling away over $6 million in his personal bank account.
Zishan Alvi, 45, of Inverness, Illinois, co-owned LabElite, which federal prosecutors say billed the federal government for COVID-19 tests that were either never performed or were performed with purposefully inadequate components to render them futile. Customers who sought testing from LabEliteāsometimes for clearance to travel or have contact with vulnerable peopleāreceived either no results or results indicating they were negative for the deadly virus.
The scam, which ran from around February 2021 to about February 2022, made over $83 million total in fraudulent payments from the federal government’s Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), which covered the cost of COVID-19 testing for people without insurance during the height of the pandemic. Local media coverage indicated that people who sought testing at LabElite were discouraged from providing health insurance information.
In February 2022, the FBI raided LabElite’s Chicago testing site amid a crackdown on several large-scale fraudulent COVID testing schemes. In March 2023, Alvi was indicted by a federal grand jury on 10 counts of wire fraud and one count of theft of government funds. The indictment sought forfeiture of his ill-gotten riches, which were listed in the indictment.
The list included five vehicles: a 2021 Mercedes-Benz, a 2021 Land Rover Range Rover HSE, a 2021 Lamborghini Urus, A 2021 Bentley, and a 2022 Tesla X. There was also about $810,000 in an E*Trade account, approximately $500,000 in a Fidelity Investments account, and $245,814 in a Coinbase account. Last, there was $6,825,089 in Alvi’s personal bank account.
On Monday, the Department of Justice announced a deal in which Alvi pleaded guilty to one count of wire fraud, taking responsibility for $14 million worth of fraudulent HRSA claims. He now faces up to 20 years in prison and will be sentenced on February 7, 2025.
