This is an inside baseball story that will be overlooked by most, but it carries profound implications.
The winner of the presidential election usually merges the president-elect’s transition team with the federal transition system. Current government bureaucrats then begin a process of briefings, agency/institutional transfer coordination and funding to assist the incoming president’s team. However, as we saw in the aftermath of the 2016 election, the government side of the transition worked behind the scenes to impede Trump’s ascendency into office, and factually supported the corrupt government IC officials who were targeting Trump.
For election 2024, President Trump’s transition team is now saying they are likely to go it alone and skip any federal transition assistance in advance of inauguration day. That decision is making the deepest parts of the Deep State apparatus very nervous. That decision has major ramifications and could, likely would, include the incoming Trump administration setting up offices outside Washington DC.

I saw that original where the guy finding it was interviewed. That is likely just some criminal harvesting ID/Credit Card mailers and correspondence and dumping the “junk mail”.
Some years back a group was working our neighborhood at night in a stolen SUV. They got caught (I called it in, they didn’t recon area and got trapped in streets with no way out). Cop noted he’d been close to shooting the male when he was hesitant to remove his hands from his pockets and when the guy did a pile of mail dropped to the ground (each address a felony too).
Side note to that, NEVER blow off the summons to testify. Everyone bitches about crime, but these guys walk when no one shows up to testify and 9/10 times it’s to much of an “inconvenience” and because of that there’s always someone(s) on the jury dumb enough to consider the claim that stolen items were loaned or borrowed etc… to be a “reasonable doubt”. The freakin’ lady whose vehicle was stolen didn’t show up (no GTA!).
The 2 cops and asst DA were beside themselves when I showed up at the courthouse on the males trial day. They said his lawyer was an asshole, and this was going to be males second strike (out of jail 2weeks before arrest for this). It was a dunk on him, and 2 females involved subsequently took plea deals when their counsel learned someone would testify.
The justice system CAN work if you participate in it.
