She will oversee the joint session of Congress who will ‘certify’ the electors as valid.
This is a “must do” act for her; oversight as Senate President.
Now, if there is some hesitation on her part to establish this joint session, she has no leg to stand on.
And unfortunately for her and the Democrats, their bully-pulpit they’ve used in the past will bite them.
In the past, Dems have stated that the Constitution does NOT use the term “refuse to certify” (or equivalent), thus MANDATING a positive certification regardless of [even real] evidence to the contrary.
They are stuck.
