There were 168 million registered voters in the US in 2020 election.
I haven’t decided where I’ll live after I sell my business. I have a son here and he’ll be married next August. Children will likely follow quickly and she’ll be a stay-at-home Mom. Her entire family is in our town and the wife’s in-laws tend to be a little less involved if her mother and family are nearby. One thing I have going for me is that I’ll be retired, while everyone in her family must continue to work. I have availability on my side, but I understand that new mothers want their mothers around more. I may travel a bit and return when the first child comes, which probably won’t be until 2026.
I read today that Liberal party stalwarts are trying to get Turdeau to step down for the good of the party. He insisted that politics aren’t as important as his DEI and climate change initiatives, so he’s going to stay on. If we could get rid of him and return to some semblance of sanity in the country, I could be persuaded to stay and just visit the US for long periods of time. My best guess is that every politician has been bought and paid for, so the party in charge may change, but nothing in the country will as long as the WEF owns our leaders.
I hope you’re feeling better soon.
This is probably the best discussion on the election I’ve heard this year - Mark Halperin on Tucker Carlson

That was a bad meme maker 🤔
As I tell my friend in upper Ontario, get the hell out of country. She don’t listen either.

Consider Idaho, where freedom lives. Especially in the North part of the state, called the Idaho Panhandle. You won’t find a more conservative God loving part of the country.

I’m listening. I live here and understand the implications of everything I’m seeing better than most Canadians do. I know they’re chipping away at our freedoms and that the country is being run by puppets of the WEF. The first step in escaping was to sell my business. That’s very close. My son has a good job and makes enough that his wife will be able to stay home to raise their children. I’ve suggested that linesmen are needed everywhere in the US and asked him if they’ve considered leaving the country too. They’re conservatives and don’t like the direction the country is headed, but all of her family is here, so leaving Canada isn’t a real consideration for them right now. I have to decide if my distaste for Canadian politics and the direction of the country outweighs being involved in a meaningful way in my son and grandchildren’s lives. I can live somewhere with more freedom, but if I don’t have family, what really do I have? It’s a difficult decision.
Idaho has been near the top of my list.

Loss of health care keeps many from moving out of Canada I’d guess?
