A Minnesota artist was gunned down last Wednesday while painting her street mural in an attack police are calling 'random' and 'cold-blooded.' Carrie Shobe Kwok, 66, of St. Paul, was kneeling over a colorful art project she'd been working on to brighten the community when surveillance footage showed the moment she was shot and killed.
The gunman, later identified as 29-year-old Seantrell Murdock, was found at an address in Belle Plaine, which is about an hour from St. Paul.

Informative and well written. Thanks.
Whenever one thinks of Minnesota, they should remember the voters their elected Jesse “The Body” Ventura governor, Al Franken Senator, and numerous other strange individuals to represent them. It must be those long winter nights.
How he obtained a gun?
I’m sure he filled out the proper papers and given the go.
THAT’S what they’re interested in?
When I read about black men with severe mental illness who have killed someone or been killed by police, it seems like they very often have children. White men with severe mental illness in the same circumstances seem much less likely to have children. Anyway, there's four children with a major life trauma and the genetic vulnerability to mental illness. May God receive Carrie Kwok and comfort her family.
What is happening to people in this country? Something drastic has to happen to put the fear of God into EVERYONE.
We are not compatible. Some cultures create and beautify their surroundings. Others, create Haiti
I used to live a couple blocks from where this happened. That part of town has a couple of artist co-op buildings.
Every October there is an art festival there when the artists open their studios (and try to make sales). If the weather is decent, it’s well attended. I expect her street art was in coordination with the art fest; perhaps walking directions. This is going to put a damper on attendance I’m sure. Too bad. You’d be hard pressed to find a Trump voter down there, but largely they were nice people.

We expelled Jesus Christ from America and raised up the idol of "self" in His place. It's called "humanism" and has failed every culture that ever embraced it.
“I sought for the greatness and genius of America in her commodious harbors and her ample rivers-- and it was not there... in her fertile fields and boundless forests-- and it was not there... in her rich mines and her vast world commerce-- and it was not there... in her democratic Congress and matchless Constitution-- and it was not there. Not until I went into the churches of America and heard her pulpits flame with righteousness did I understand the secret of her genius and power. America is great because she is good, and if America ever ceases to be good, America will cease to be great.”
Around 1840 by Alexis de Tocqueville, author of Democracy in America, a book which was assigned to the entire Republican freshman class of the 104th congress.
