We’re in the middle of Banned Books Week — an observance that is troublingly appropriate this year.

“The attempts to censor, restrict or ban books in 2024 in the United States continued to surpass pre-pandemic levels, while books with LGBTQ-plus themes dominate the most-challenged list, advocacy groups said in reports released Monday, just as Banned Books Week began,” reports the Washington Post. “The annual event, which will run through Saturday nationwide, seeks to spotlight the value of free and open access to information.”

Now reading this I rather got the impression these bigoted atheist clowns are implying Christians are going to kill people.

What do you think?

The same “so called” champions of free thought are very eager to ban anything they consider misinformation. i.e. opposing views.

Playboy and Penthouse has been banned in schools for a while.

So have cigarettes, cigars, pipes, chew, and Johnny Walker.

And so is Fag McGee’s big book of BJs.

Yeah, pretty much stuff that’s not good for kids is not allowed for kids.

So what?

These people are crazy.

Strike that, we’re crazy for paying them any consideration, attention, or thought.

Censorship is the topic. As for the Public Indoctrination Camps my opinion is end them . Seperation of School and State is an idea whose time has come.

OK, if you are against book banning, how about letting kids read Little Black Sambo? My generation was the last to enjoy that story.

San Diegans had to work to get the #1 bestseller by Rush Limbaugh into the libraries, at first they weren’t going to buy any copies.

There are exactly ZERO banned books in the USA.

Not one.

But, the leftoids just can’t help themselves.

They ravish falling all over themselves screeching for internet censorship while simultaneously clothing themselves in robes of indignant righteousness while lamenting the phantom “book bans” that fuel their victimhood fantasies.

I always challenge people when they say books are banned. I always point out they can be purchased by adults. No one is keeping adults from buying books.

I also point out that you wouldn’t show an R rated movie at an elementary school.

The Bible is probably the world’s most banned books. In some countries, such as North Korea and Saudi Arabia, having one is a capital crime.
