They must have issued a remix of this one in recent years; the bass track sounds much better than I remembered it from years ago.

Sometimes bands will re-record their own music, because the previous record label takes too big of a cut from streaming. So they license back their own music and lyrics, re-record it and release it themselves - keeping a bigger share of the revenues. Little to no cut goes to the previous label. Just the publisher.
