I wonder what he is willing to do or invest to protect his dreams.

Every one of us should be doing that. But the answers are known and hard to face.

We'll do something tomorrow.

If Trump is "eliminated," what will you do the day you hear that news?

If Harris "wins," what will you do the day you hear that news? That day. Or the next. Or all the next.

Meanwhile, tyranny arrived yesterday. Last year. A decade ago. We have done nothing but temporize and that is all we will do, all the way to the whimpering end.

It's said the truth shall set you free, but that's a terrible price to pay for freedom. Besides, it's too late now. The only value of the truth now is that it's the truth. It won't allow us to go on working, paying for our swell houses and the college funds for the kiddies; food and medical care.

We have reaffirmed Jefferson. Mankind are more disposed to suffer than to right themselves.

Very very well said... Absolutely right on the mark. Unfortunately there are only a very few of us who understand that reality and are willing to sacrifice. Far too many are stuck in an alternate reality waiting for miracles that will not come and dragging our Grandchildren under with them.

...but, its never too late to resist. Hope you are following Matt Bracken (Travis McGee here). He is very helpful.

“And how we burned in the camps later, thinking: What would things have been like if every security operative, when he went out at night to make an arrest, had been uncertain whether he would return alive and had to say good-bye to his family? Or if, during periods of mass arrests, as for example in Leningrad, when they arrested a quarter of the entire city, people had not simply sat there in their lairs, paling with terror at every bang of the downstairs door and at every step on the staircase, but had understood they had nothing left to lose and had boldly set up in the downstairs hall an ambush of half a dozen people with axes, hammers, pokers, or whatever else was at hand? After all, you knew ahead of time that those bluecaps were out at night for no good purpose. And you could be sure ahead of time that you’d be cracking the skull of a cutthroat.”
