I remember when the air traffic controllers went on strike, and Reagan fired them all. Problem solved.
There are a lot of journalists out of work these days who might be a little more grateful to have a job.

I use to work in a factory that had a few dozen Filipinas. They would break out bagon (spelling) which is fermented rotten shrimp. The break room was vomitous.

Ah yes, the entrance to hell known as the New York Times building with it’s demonic Satan worshipers complaining about perfume when all they want is the smell of sulfur and rotten eggs.
The little known secret is that the 9-11 terrorist really wanted to target the NY Times on 242 W 41st St, but Pinch Sulzberger (making a pact with the devil) was able to jam the airplane controls and force it to crash into the Twin Towers instead. Sulzberger owes Lucifer plenty.

This is what they get for hiring all the ‘woke’ hipster’s instead of normal people who just want to work.

I heard some mid-20's talking about 4-day workweeks at a relative's birthday party, especially for remote workers, and my first thought was "this is how non-essential employees identify themselves."
And for this story, my first response is "why does even a large newspaper have that many "tech" employees?"

does the average Joe really care if the NYT doesn't publish on election day?
As for the demands " to 'decline work based on advertisers' and the 'right to request letters to the editor not be published' " they're proving themselves nutcases.

Even trash bags are scented these days.... maybe change out the trash bags with unscented ones.
Also tell the soy boys to stop wearing perfume and earrings.
