The Reasons Young Women Embrace the Left Do Not Reflect Well on These Women

The Left is basically beating on women, now, to make them even more emotional.

Men at the tops of Women’s awards podiums, the sexual mutilation and sterilization of children. This is beating on Women to get the unthinking result you want.

I feel sorry for both young men and young women. Both face a hassle in these “I’m offended”, “sensitive” times. Essentually, who needs the grief? Paraphrasing Elvis Presley: why buy the cow when you get the milk free?

Private remarks matter.
Uh, no. 100% no.

Anyone who denies that needs to shut up about JFK, LBJ, and Bill Clinton, not to mention innumerable other people on the left...

Hell no! IMHO you need to shut up. Maybe go back and re-read (or I suspect, just read) the column. Because you missed its entire point as well as certain eternal truths about human behavior.

We don't need any "hall monitor conservatives" effing up this election. It's more than a little bit too important for that moral preening, seeing how we're up against stone-hearted Marxist scum of the earth who want to destroy this country.

Let me guess; I bet you supported BLM and the effort to defund the police when the George Floyd riots were out of control burning cities, destroying the lives and livelihoods of many people, including black Americans.

But, you (or many other RINOs) felt so righteous, so good about yourself, and your neighborhood leftist told you that you were one of the "reasonable ones". And that was what was most important. That, and the wonderful view from up there on your high horse.

Self examination is very hard to do.

Some people can’t do it.

If you are unhappy, and can’t do self examination, then your happiness must be coming from somebody besides you.

Your unhappiness can’t come from someone weaker than you or you would fix them.

Your unhappiness must come from someone stronger than you.

Men.

Men are making you unhappy.

Only, they aren’t.

Their unhappiness comes from an inability to truly do self examination, and from societal forces that make money from women’s unhappiness.

Too many have been raised as princesses.

They can do no wrong. Anybody who suggests they are wrong is hateful. Off with their heads.

Look at young women in school.

They want the teacher’s approval.

This gives the teacher great control over them.

The teacher rewards them with positive reinforcement.

“You obey me, so you are smart and special.”

Young women are conditioned to obey higher authority.

Young men?

Not so much.

It's also a gender problem.

My experience, now that I'm older, is not that women are "more emotional" than men. It's that they are far more often unaware that their emotions are getting the better of them.

Men still internalize a need for self-control, which means they must have some disassociation between the emotions they feel and their observations of them.

Women often do not do this, whether being angry or sexually attracted, they just act on their emotions and display behaviors no man would. It's not the stereotype of behaving "hysterically." It's far more insidious than that because there is often a total lack of self-awareness.

Government is their provider and protector. Wokeism is their religion.
