Just as I would be really excited about DJ Lagway after last night, but what are the chances that this time next season he could be playing for another school?

I always thought what they should do is they would take the top two teams, and have their players participate in “The College Bowl” where they would be quizzed on general knowledge, and the Winner would be crowned the National Champion.

Exactly. Just like major league baseball’s minor leagues—but at least they don’t pretend to be student athletes—they are honest about it.

I like it....lol. But they would have to ask questions only at the grade school or high school level only.

And eventually during NFL games when the players introduce themselves they’ll say something like “DeShaun Marqueesas.....University of Michigan....Purdue University....University of Oklahoma....Auburn University......”

Self aggrandizing, celebrity, gadfly coaches don’t help either, nor do the corrupt school administrations. Players are a commodity.

It’s a fireable offense to say that players are dumb as hell.

Too bad they can’t let their marketing dept play instead of the team. They’d win every game by 30 points.

Several good high school teams in the nation could beat Kentucky. Team sucks with no talent, and the coaching staff is terrible.
