I swear UND sold their soul to the devil back in 2009 when they had Obama speak. Every game since then I’ve watched them inexplicably pull their asses out of the fire and somehow win the game, even during seasons when their team isn’t particularly good. Could be the refs working their “magic” but it’s pry just Satan.

The homer ref. spotted the ball short of the first down on the last drive by N.IL forcing them to kick the go ahead field goal thereby giving ND time to try and kick the winning field goal.
That official knew exactly where he needed to be for N.IL to be short and unless the play resulted in a clear first down, N.IL was going to be short.
….and they failed to start the clock after that play which would have forced ND to use their last time out.

Arkansas vs Oklahoma State University was a great game too. I think the Razorbacks could have won it.

The interesting thing is that almost none of the NIU kids were portal players. They played their butts off and ND did not take them seriously.
Just watching the ND fans weep at the end of the game was fun.
